I really like the whole idea of 'paying it forward', as someone does a small act of kindness to you. You do not pay them back with the same, you pay it (the small kindness) forward to someone else.
There was a movie, called 'pay it forward', I think, with the same idea...only when the kindness was given, the person actually told the other to 'don't pay me back, pay it forward to someone else'...thus actively creating that positive cycle.
I think the idea of the small act of kindness is encouraging, as it doesn't take this great 'insert word here' to make change, or you don't have to be a 'somebody important' to enact change...
