Reminds me of when I was a kid in West London. Any available area of land that remained undeveloped after the war was dug-up and plundered for its gravel deposits, by firms such as Greenhams. Once the works were completed they let the pits fill with water and sit for years and years, until ready for landfill. These weird watery, quarry-like landscapes, with lakes, streams and weird mounds of gravel piled up as high as houses, also grew acres of blackberries. A simple, but nimble, jump over a strand or two of barbed wire could yeild bags-full of the juciest blackberries. The 'pits' were also occupied by some fairly odd characters at times though....

My taste buds have just gone into attack mode just by looking at that picture. I always managed to pick the bitter ones as a kid!

"Attack of the Killer Taste-Buds?"
Now there's an idea for a home-movie! (not coming to a cinema near you).
